So, I finally have my computer and car back. I should be able to start running more errands, going to workshops, build parties, and other events easily again (and without spending nearly as much on gas!). Plus, I should be able to post regular updates again, make changes to my pages, answer quite requests/inquiries, as well as create and posting photo sets of finished projects without any problems since I'm now the proud owner of a copy of the CS6 Adobe Creative Suite.
However, with my ankle injury, even with the two week delay, I haven't been able to get anything done as I have been spending the bulk of my time trying to stay off my feet. Not to mention, the injury was worse than the folks at the Emergency room and originally thought. I went my Orthopedist yesterday to find out that I'd actually torn 2 of the 3 ligaments in my ankle. There's some discoloration from the bleeding ligaments and a little swelling on the outside of my foot even now. He said it would still be another 4 - 6 weeks of healing time.
While I am well on the road to recovery, things are going much slower than I first anticipated. It's been a long time since I've gotten hurt this bad, and it's sometimes hard to grasp just how long healing times take. My family is wonderful and helping me to rearrange my studio, so hopefully I can start sewing again and easily move around.
Needless to say, I won't be able to do much as far as my photo shoots and new personal costuming projects are concerned as many of them require heels or some other crazy footwear. Regardless, I'm still trying to press on with everything else, and get back on track with pending client work.
I thank everyone for their patience and understanding! It's been amazing to work with everyone, and I could not ask for better clients.
